I've got a solid crew of machine operators, certified drainlayers, builders and truck drivers. Most of them have been with me for years. We handle earthworks, drainage, retaining walls, concrete, demolition and roading. One crew runs the whole job so there's one person accountable from site cut to sign-off.

Auckland isn’t one type of ground. Heavy clay out west that holds water and moves with the seasons. Volcanic rock through the central suburbs that changes what you can dig and how you dig it. Sandy coastal soil on the Shore that drains fast but doesn’t hold structure the same way. Steep hill country through Rodney and the Waitakeres where everything runs downhill and drainage is the difference between a stable site and a slip.
We’ve dealt with all of it. We know which areas need extra attention on compaction, where the water table sits high, and where you’re going to hit rock before you expect it. That saves time and money because we plan for what’s actually in the ground, not what a generic spec sheet says should be there.
Why it matters who does your civil work
Civil work goes in first and gets buried. If the drainage is wrong, you find out when your retaining wall fails or your driveway sinks. If the compaction isn’t right, you find out when your foundations crack. By then, fixing it costs three times what doing it properly would have.
